Who can participate at the Children's ski school?

Children from 3-8 year old (must be 3 within 2022)

• Ekorn: 3 year old = born 2019 (NB! The course is for children with parents on skis)
• Hare: 4 year old = born 2018
• Bamse: 5 and 6 years old = born 2017 or 2016
• Elg: 7 and 8 years old = born 2015 or 2014

Important dates 2023:

• Thursday 10th of November at 09:00
  Registration opens for members of Skiforenigen only.
  NB! It is the participating children who must be a member of Skiforeningen.
• Thursday 17th of November 09:00 Registration opens for others. 

Prices for weekend courses 2023

• Members price:  NOK 1.360,- (the child participation must be a member of Skiforeningen)
• Obos member:   NOK 1.510,- (enter the promotional code when getting to the shopping cart not the membership number)
• Regular price:     NOK 1.785,-

We offer free spaces for children coming from low-income families.

Weekend courses 2023

The course runs over five weekends. The child participates either on Saturdays or Sundays. All locations start in week 2 unless otherwise decided before registration opens.

What do childern learn in our skischool? 

Our vision is to create lifelong skiing pleasure through play.

Through playing on skis we teach children basic techniques. Skiing joy through mastery is arranged on children's terms. Through a 5-week course, the children go through a program that includes both situation-controlled activities and freeriding. Through situation-controlled activities the children practice different skills togheter with other children in a natural way. Our goal is for the childeren to have fun by skiing, develop and experience a feeling of mastery.
