Holmenkollen

The Ski Museum is closed due to a renovation, but the best view point in Oslo remains open.

If you are planning to visit Holmenkollen renovation works will affect your visit.

The Ski Museum in Holmenkollen is a popular destination for both national and international tourists. Although the Ski Museum will be closed for a period there is still a lot to do in Holmenkollen.

The jump tower

As a visitor, you can still experience Oslo's best view from the top of the jump tower. The tower will remain open as normal. We will also keep the ski simulator and a souvenir shop open.

Where can I buy tickets to the tower?

You can buy tickets to the tower in our souvernir shop located near the ski simulator. Please follow the signs from the parking lot.

The Ski Museum and the café

The museum and the cafe will be affected by the renovation and will be closed for visitors until the end of 2023. You can buy mineral water and some snacks in the souvernir shop.

Parking/arrival

When you visit us, you will find a signposted alternative route to the jump tower, ticket sales, souvernir shop and the ski simulator. For those arriving by car, there will occasionally be a change of signage, but the car park a few meters from the ski jump can be used as usual.
